AUCT grades: what G, U, I, W, S mean
Every lot at the AUCT auction has a group (a letter) and a star rating. The group tells what the vehicle is overall, the stars tell its condition.
Lot group
Normal condition, open to inspection. Includes flood-damaged vehicles that were restored.
Doesn't start or drive, sold as-is. May have hidden damage or missing parts.
The auction won't guarantee the ownership transfer: engine or body numbers don't match, documents can't be fixed or have expired. Often sold uninspected.
Was under water (up to the floor or console) and not restored. Damage may exceed what the inspection shows.
After a major crash or fire, structure damaged. Not star-rated, transfer not guaranteed.
Legacy code, absent from the current system: wrecks and burnt vehicles. Closest to S.
Stars: three ratings from 1 to 5
Cars have been star-rated since January 2025, motorbikes since September 2025. Older lots carry the old letter scale.
